Overview Join our dynamic architecture team as an Architectural Job Captain/Project Architect, where your expertise will drive the successful execution of innovative residential design projects from concept through construction. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and detail oriented individual to work on high end projects in beautiful Steamboat Springs, CO. The successful candidate will have a passion for the field, a keen eye for detail, and a drive to create inspiring spaces. As a pivotal member of our firm, you'll bring energy, precision, and a passion for architectural excellence to every project you oversee. Duties Lead and coordinate architectural design development, ensuring adherence to project goals and client expectations. Prepare and review detailed construction documents, including schematics, drawings, and specifications using CAD software we use ArchiCAD! Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on system design, interior design, mechanical design, and graphic elements to produce cohesive project deliverables. Utilize visualization tools like Twinmotion to create compelling presentations and design simulations. Coordinate with consultants on structural systems, mechanical systems, and construction details to ensure seamless integration of all building components. Assist in reviewing construction documents for accuracy and compliance with building codes and standards. Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues, and maintain good working relationships. Maintaining organized and accurate records of all drawings and project files. Performing site visits and composing field reports. Updating and revising drawings as needed, taking into account changes in design and feedback from clients and other stakeholders Requirements Proven experience in architectural drafting, schematic development, and construction documentation. Proficiency in CAD software, ideally ArchiCAD, (will entertain the right Revit qualified individual willing to retrain to our office Archicad platform). Experienced ArchiCad user = pay bump. Strong knowledge of system design principles across architectural disciplines; experience with interior design and mechanical systems is highly desirable. Skilled in graphic design principles and 3D presentations. Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and team members. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field; professional licensure or certification is a plus. Join us to shape inspiring spaces through innovative architecture!
