VanderHorn Architects, a Greenwich, CT architecture firm, specializing in the finest quality residential design, seeks an experienced Project Manager. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of large single-family residential projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
Job Responsibilities:
Works with the Principal to design projects. Develops, checks, and coordinates all technical aspects of each project. Leads in construction drawing efforts. Assists in project code review. Coordinates the work of project consultants. Oversees the work of assisting staff. Follows established standards for project production. Participation in construction phase site meetings.
Key Skills:
Three years' minimum experience managing similar projects with limited oversight. Must have good time management and estimation skills and be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects in an efficient manner. M.Arch or B.Arch required. Architect's license for Connecticut or adjacent state(s) preferred. Demonstrate understanding of traditional residential design and wood frame design. Strong graphics, presentation, and communications skills. A professional, respectful, and respectable demeanor is absolutely essential. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, with knowledge of Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, and Microsoft Office a plus. Must currently live within 40 miles of Greenwich, CT. This is an in-office position, with the option of working remotely on Fridays.
