Job Description

The Tri-Com Consulting Group A Full Service IT Employment Consulting Firm is seeking qualified candidates for the following opening: Project Manager Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT projects aligned with strategic initiatives Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities, timelines, and resources Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports using tools such as MS Project Coordinate efforts across internal teams, external vendors, and agency stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes Facilitate regular project meetings, including status updates, risk reviews, and stakeholder communications Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies Ensure projects remain within scope, budget, and timeline constraints Provide clear and consistent reporting to executive leadership and program stakeholders Support procurement processes and vendor management activities, including performance tracking and deliverable oversight Ensure compliance with State policies, standards, and documentation requirements Required Qualifications Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects, preferably within State or public sector environments Strong experience coordinating across multiple vendors and stakeholder groups Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and other project tracking/reporting tools Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and project scope Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly visible environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with health and human services systems or government program modernization efforts Familiarity with PMO processes and governance structures Experience supporting RFPs, vendor onboarding, and contract management PMP or similar project management certification Key Attributes Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Ability to navigate complex organizational structures Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset Comfortable working in highly regulated and structured environments ~Tri-Com is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer~ We strongly encourage the applications of women, minorities, persons with disabilities, and military veterans.
