This position will oversee projects in both Connecticut and New York.

Monday-Friday Responsibilities :
Manage all aspects of construction projects from design to coordination of scheduling of various construction phases and the monitoring of permits and the daily oversight of subcontractors. Develop project schedules, plan materials, and purchase orders, ensuring work is within project scope. Manage all start and end times for scheduled projects. Oversee the construction schedule, budget and insure project is completed within deadline and budget. This position also requires the maintaining of accurate records, being organized and being able to plan and prioritize the workload consistently. Other duties involve attending planning meetings, updating calendars, contributing to process teams and all other responsibilities as directed by the Management Team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage the day-to-day field activities to ensure that the project milestone dates and overall schedule completion date is met Managing and coordinating the work to ensure that it is constructed in an orderly and deliberate manner that is consistent with the scope of work set forth in the contract documents Obtaining and ensuring that the quality aspects of the physical work are fully documented Ensuring all aspects of the project are compliant with all contract terms and legal requirements that govern the project Conducting and/or attending pre-construction, progress and other project and staff meetings Conducting and/or participating in regularly held meetings involving projects, internal staff and external stake holders such as owners, subcontractors, etc. Meeting with client representatives on a regular basis to discuss the status of projects, to proactively identify and resolve problems and to assure that the client is kept knowledgeable about the status of the work Administering contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders and other agreements to ensure that the scope, terms and conditions are consistently and proactively being met Directing and managing the work loads of supporting staff to include training, mentoring and follow up. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent project manager work experience Must have minimum five (5) years of experience in Construction Project Management Team player who displays leadership and diplomacy Excellent computer skills with a working proficiency in Word, Excel and Database applications Excellent Time Management, ability to prioritize, manage and complete a heavy workload with the capability to work independently and with multiple cross functional team members Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously within a deadline-driven, time sensitive work environment Ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications and costs Ability to adapt to changing business requirements with minimal advance notice Ability to travel to potential and current job sites as required Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate information in a clear, concise & professional manner Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
