What you´ll do Lead initiatives to improve how legal work flows across the business, including process mapping, process optimization, design of intake systems, creating self-service tools or automating repetitive tasks. Develop systems and protocols to organize data, information and institutional knowledge so the team can find, access and re-use it more effectively. Manage medium and large regional legal projects focused on process improvement, substantive matters, and department initiatives, and coordinate with the overall legal team to support global projects. Evaluate, implement, refine and maintain legal tech tools and adapt standard company software and tech solutions (including AI) to legal initiatives. Organize and support the onboarding of law firms and other legal vendors, track fee arrangements, and monitor performance. Develop, track and report on KPIs related to work volume, allocation timing, and feedback. What makes you a good fit At least 7 years of experience on a legal team with a strong preference for experience within the in-house environment. At least 7 years of experience with processes and technology related to the legal function, especially in the areas of contracts, litigation, intellectual property and the management of outside counsel. Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and a willingness to learn other systems, including Henkel's contract management, litigation management and IP docketing systems. A Bachelor degree, with a preference for a focus on legal studies, project management, and/or communications related to change management. A highly organized, self-starter with a strong record of overcoming obstacles, developing practical solutions, and embracing technology. Excellent communication skills, oral and written. General business management knowledge with a preference for experience working with a global corporation headquartered outside of the US. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish both formal and informal relationships with those from diverse geographic and cultural backgrounds. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate's skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
