Connecticut , Trumbull Job Description A well-respected contractor specializing in the construction of civil construction projects, is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing team. They are dedicated to the professional development of their team, and committed to delivering quality projects, on time, safely, and under budget to their clients. They are seeking this position immediately. This role of a Project Manager is to manage multiple projects at varying stages, mitigate risk, collaborate with estimating and preconstruction team. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, and have 5+ years of experience working on civil construction projects. This role involves coordinating with other project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning, design, and execution of civil construction projects. Ensure projects compliance with company standards, specifications, and regulations. Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans and safety standards. Collaborate with the estimating and field teams to develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders. Prepare project reports, documentation, and obtain necessary approvals. Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges promptly. Ensure effective communication and coordination between all project participants. Maintain accurate records of project activities and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (preference) Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction projects. Proven experience overseeing projects from start to finish (varying size, scope, and value). Strong knowledge of construction standards, specifications, and regulations. Proficiency in project management software. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required. What the
