Position/Job Description:
General Tasking Description:
Provide business management support to Division General Managers (DGMs) to manage all contracts within budgets and to maximize profit achievement. Perform research and assist responding to potential financial issues with sound recommendations and action strategies Serve as the DGMs primary interface with corporate finance, contracts, and human resources directorates. Interface with contract COR(s) and assist with development and analysis of program cost and schedule performance data. Maintain metrics to gauge the COR and Division Manager progress against budgets and goals Assist in assessing the financial health of division contracts and budgets. Provide analysis and reports to the DGMs for managing financial results Serve as a resource to the division's project managers in creating and monitoring project budgets and schedules Support new contract set-up in the accounting system Manage financial and contract tracking tools for invoices, charge numbers, fee structures, periods of performance, and required reports Maintain financial and contract records Develop contract EACs /ETC's/spend plans Assist with cost proposal development and preparing cost performance estimates for incremental contract funding Assist in developing financial performance forecasts and assist with indirect pool management Review time and expense collections for compliance with contractual requirements and company policies. Travel up to 10% may be required for official business at company office in Washington, DC.
Experience Requirements:
20+ years of experience as a contract or operations controller. Knowledge and experience with DoD contract structure, Navy (DON) preferred. Proficient in Costpoint, Costpoint budgeting module is a plus Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to work with government representatives, corporate managers and employees at varying levels in an organization.
Educational Requirements:
