This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who brings deep Head Start/Early Head Start (HS/EHS) expertise and thrives in complex federal environments. The ideal candidate will have strong program leadership experience and the ability to build trusted relationships while leading high-performing teams.
ONSITE Location:
Washington, DC (Local applicants only)
Responsibilities:
Lead project kickoff and ongoing coordination efforts with federal stakeholders Manage project execution and ensure work aligns with contract requirements and deliverables Serve as the primary client-facing representative Oversee quality assurance across deliverables and work products Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including analysts and administrative staff Support staffing, onboarding, and performance management activities Monitor project progress, risks, budgets, and timelines Provide subject matter expertise across Head Start/Early Head Start program areas
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
Experience:
8+ years of project management experience 5+ years supporting Head Start/Early Head Start programs 3+ years supporting federal contracts PMP certification preferred Experience with HSES, Grant Solutions, ChildPlus, and related systems preferred
Pay:
From $81,733.27 per year
