Develop, review, and oversee project schedules Culture & Talent Development Support the team with various duties, including preparing documents Wear attire that is appropriate for project setting (business casual) Develop and manage project team, to include recruitment as necessary Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude in all interactions to foster a productive and collaborative work environment Relations & Representation Foster and maintain strong relationships with project team, leadership, clients, vendors, etc. Compliance & Day-to-Day Operations Perform timely project buyout Obtain permits when required Oversee contractual issues and ensure compliance Ensure construction site rules and procedures are implemented and followed Ensure projects meet safety goals and standards Submit reports and documentation required for effective cost tracking Willingness to travel to construction sites Other duties as assigned Monitoring & Review Perform regular site visits to ensure effective project oversite Thoroughly review superintendent's daily job and equipment reports Identify and escalate issues to leadership as needed
Requirements/Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in marine construction, with at least 3 years as project manager Knowledge of marine construction methods and materials Experience with project management software and tools Strong leadership and communication skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment OSHA 30 is required Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (preferred, not required)
