Senior Electrical Project Manager Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex electrical projects valued at $50 million or greater , overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle including estimating, planning, procurement, execution, commissioning, and project closeout. Key Responsibilities Manage electrical construction projects from initial planning and design through completion and turnover to the client. Lead project teams including project engineers, assistant project managers, superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans. Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements. Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee contract administration, change order management, procurement, and risk mitigation. Monitor project financial performance, including cost controls, billing, cash flow, and profitability. Conduct regular project meetings and provide executive-level reporting on project status. Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Support business development efforts and participate in project pursuits as needed. Mentor and develop junior project management staff. Required Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of electrical construction project management experience. Demonstrated experience successfully managing electrical construction projects from start to finish with a total project value of $50 million or greater. Experience managing large commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, mission-critical, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, scheduling, estimating, and contract management. Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project requirements simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required. PMP certification preferred but not required. Experience with Design-Build and Design-Assist project delivery methods. Knowledge of BIM/VDC processes and construction technology platforms. Key Performance Indicators Project safety performance. Schedule adherence and milestone achievement. Budget and cost control performance. Client satisfaction and relationship management. Change order management and project profitability. Successful delivery and closeout of large-scale electrical construction projects. Critical Requirement Candidates must have verifiable experience leading electrical construction projects from inception through completion with individual project values of at least $50 million.
