$75,000•$90,000 Base Salary Year End Bonus(s) Health, Dental, Vision Insurance 401K + company match Direct Access to Project Manager and Director of Project Management, with room to grow into a Project Manager position within the team Tiello has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor in South Florida on their search for a Project Coordinator who has experience working/supporting a project management team on high-end hospitality new construction projects (restaurant/retail). The Project Coordinator manages the administrative, procurement, and logistical lifecycles of luxury restaurant build-outs. This fast-paced role demands an absolute obsession with premium finishes, strict fast-track timelines, and the complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) layouts unique to fine dining establishments within the new construction industry.
Projects:
High-End Hospitality (Restaurants, Hotel, Retail)
Key Responsibilities:
Document Control & Compliance Manage and route Requests for Information (RFIs), change orders, submittals, and shop drawings Navigate building permit processes to prevent municipal project delays
Procurement Tracking:
Coordinate long-lead procurement schedules for imported materials, specialized commercial kitchen hoods, high-end lighting, and luxury custom millwork. Serve as the central communication hub between the client's operations team, architects, general contractors, and specialty subcontractors Track project expenditures, process subcontractor invoices, compile lien waivers, and maintain accurate budget records against target costs Closeout Coordination. Compile closeout binders including warranties, operations manuals for kitchen equipment, and certified certificates of occupancy
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 2 years of commercial construction/high end hospitality experience with a general contractor, preferred. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and responsibility matrix. Strong communication skills with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach. Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus). Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and project scheduling software (ProCore experience preferred). Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Resourceful, driven, and self-motivated with the ability to identify issues and support resolution. Ability to support project‑related financial tracking and maintain detailed documentation. Maintains accuracy, thoroughness, and follow‑through in a fast‑paced environment. Completes tasks efficiently and continuously seeks to improve productivity. Follows instructions and responds well to management direction.
