Job Description:
  • Manages and executes strategic initiatives to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Conducts analysis, documents processes, develops and implements effective controls, and optimizes processes to increase operational performance and reduce costs.
  • Utilizes PI principles and tools, including value stream maps, standard work, 6s, visual management, facilitation, and change management skills to support continuous improvement.
  • Interacts effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior executives and physicians, to affect change within the organization.
  • Prioritizes and manages multiple competing projects, deadlines, and customer relationships.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and status of project timelines and keeps team stakeholders and executive leadership informed of project status.
  • Facilitates cross-functional meetings and discussions to address roadblocks and ensure critical milestones and deliverables are completed in a timely manner.
  • Conducts observations, develops actionable plans, and implements viable solutions to problems identified.
  • Handles change management concerns and addresses political issues that may interfere with projects.
  • Proactively identifies potential project risks and takes steps to mitigate them.
  • Mentors and develops team members in PI tools and methodologies, providing project guidance and assigning support tasks/responsibilities as necessary.
  • Develops business models that support the short and long-term roadmaps for the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Comprehensive knowledge and application of data collection/analysis tools & methodologies [Required]
  • Expert with quality & process improvement methodologies such as lean six sigma [Required]
  • Excellent analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills [Required]
  • Ability to succinctly translate high level concepts into actionable items [Required]
  • Applied experience with project management and change management concepts and methodologies [Required]
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills [Required]
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills [Required]
  • Able to lead a project independently with little to no direction and manage multiple projects simultaneously while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork. [Required]
  • Ability to transfer clients' perceptions of problems into viable solutions. Utilizes diplomacy skills and flexibility in response to clients' changing concerns. [Required]
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Project) [Required]
  • Proven Leadership Ability [Required]
  • Familiarity with MS Project, Analytical & Data Visualization Software (Minitab, Tableau, Etc.) [Preferred]
  • Project Management Experience [Preferred]
  • Proven experience in leading process improvement projects, preferably in a complex organizational environment [Required]
Education:
  • Bachelor's [Required]
  • Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
  • A clinical discipline,
System Performance Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Public Health, or Healthcare Administration Work Experience:
  • 6+ relevant experience in engineering, healthcare, business, or related field [Required]
Additional Information:
  • An equivalent combination of education ad relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement:
  • Bachelors degree and 6+ years of experience OR
  • Associates degree and 8+ years of experience OR
  • High School Grad or Equivalent and 10+ years of experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (CSSBB) [Preferred]
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) [Preferred]
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$66,170.74
