This includes managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and quality control to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Project Planning & Execution Manage all aspects of shell construction (foundations, concrete, block, framing, structural components). Coordinate block masonry work. Develop and maintain project schedules and sequencing. Interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications. Budget & Cost Control Prepare and manage change orders. Order job equipment and materials. Determine manpower requirements throughout the project. Team & Subcontractor Management Coordinate with jobsite foremen, and subcontractors. Schedule and manage masonry crews and concrete teams. Conduct regular jobsite meetings and progress updates with project foreman. Attend weekly GC jobsite meetings. Quality & Safety Compliance Ensure all work meets building codes, project specs, and quality standards. Enforce OSHA and company safety policies. Conduct site inspections and resolve deficiencies. Client & Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for GC's. Provide regular progress reports and updates. Address GC concerns and manage expectations. Procurement & Logistics Coordinate material procurement (block, rebar, concrete, mortar, etc.). Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment and return of equipment. Manage site logistics and workflow. Skills Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project). Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Certifications (Preferred) OSHA 30 Certification PMP (Project Management Professional) Work Environment Combination of office and active construction site environments. Walking the jobsites regularly is required. May involve working in varying weather conditions. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Project completion on schedule and within budget Quality of workmanship and minimal rework Safety record (low incident rates) Client satisfaction
