This role offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality electrical systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive electrical engineering knowledge, and a passion for driving projects forward with energy and precision. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring projects adhere to safety standards, technical specifications, and client expectations while maintaining momentum throughout all phases of construction. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and closing of electrical construction projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget targets. Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project workflows and communication. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools to track progress and identify potential delays early. Prepare and review construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating software to ensure accurate budgeting. Oversee system design, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical specifications to guarantee compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Manage procurement processes for electrical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery aligned with project timelines. Monitor on-site activities for safety compliance and quality assurance while addressing any issues promptly. Utilize ProCore for project documentation management, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and daily reports. Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with contractual requirements. Facilitate effective project management practices by applying construction management principles and strong time management skills. Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction progress, troubleshoot issues, and verify adherence to plans and schematics. Maintain clear communication channels among all stakeholders to promote collaboration and transparency throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Proven experience in electrical engineering or construction management within large-scale electrical or infrastructure projects. Background in construction site management with a focus on electrical systems installation and system design. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Strong understanding of electrical system design principles including schematics interpretation and system integration. Hands-on experience with construction estimating processes specific to electrical projects. Excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. Knowledge of construction safety standards and quality control procedures on active job sites.
