as needed Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
to provide expert advice and assistance in support of various project planning, execution, and management tasks for the 96 Test Wing located at
EGLIN AFB, FL
. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management process, software tools, and a deep understanding of Air Force acquisition management policies and local financial management practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Master's Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's with 8yrs RE; or 12yrs RE Active SECRET clearance Familiarity with Air Force Test and Evaluation programs or similar military operations Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the preparation of high-quality briefings, design reviews, requirements reviews, and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs). Utilize software tools like Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Concerto for effective planning and reporting Report issues and recommend solutions to improve project execution Provide support for Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) for T-2 aircraft modifications and related projects. Manage software application to track modifications, maintain project pipelines, and close out completed projects. Synchronize all projects in the instrumentation portfolio and interpret scheduling data for leadership. Attend meetings, progress reviews, and lead discussions with configuration control boards. Engage with subject matter experts, project leads, and stakeholders to provide strategic support and recommendations. #CJ #Floridajobs "TMAS2_96TW"
