Job Description:
We are working with a well-established multifamily general contractor based in South West Florida that is looking to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to its team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards Key responsibilities include: Manage multifamily construction projects from start to finish Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documentation. Lead communication between ownership, architects, engineers, subcontractors, field teams, and internal leadership. Work closely with Superintendents to ensure project schedules, quality, and safety standards are met. Review project plans, specifications, scopes of work, and subcontractor proposals Manage buyout, procurement, and subcontractor performance. Track project costs, forecast financials, and report project status to senior leadership Identify and resolve project issues before they impact schedule or budget. Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally throughout the project lifecycle. Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers where required Requirements Experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with a general contractor. Strong multifamily construction experience is highly preferred Ground-up project experience required. Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, change management, and project documentation. Ability to lead project teams and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and client-facing skills Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms Local or commutable to the Fort Myers / Southwest Florida market.
