General Manager Position Overview The role of Project Manager at Alcrete is to be actively collaborating with customers about their product production, procurement, and delivery. The Project Manager will work with the Production Coordinator and Dispatch to ensure the delivery dates are met. The Project Manager will also be responsible for following the progress of production and delegating added tasks to appropriate personnel to help maintain project timelines. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Develop overall plan for project delivery including production priorities, schedule alignment with customer expectations and necessary documentation to ensure product is delivered on time to meet customer expectations. Periodically update plan, as required with customer, to adjust for site delays and changes. Any changes to the plan need to be reviewed with the production coordinator. Accept handoff of project from the Estimating and Design Engineer and Sales Engineer after all submissions have been approved. Coordinate with customers regarding production and delivery timelines. Work with the customer on weekly / daily delivery schedule to make sure production is aligned with their expectations. Assist in scheduling production with production coordinator. In addition, assist in procurement of production supplies to support plan. Procure specified products and components for each individual project. Interpret shop and production drawings. Ensure appropriate documentation is provided to the production team. Work with the design team to modify Cad drawings to provide correct documentation. Must be able to direct and work together with the management team including production coordinator and dispatcher. Work with Quality team as a field resource, identifying product problems and work with the production team on proactive solutions to resolve defects and making sure the right structures are delivered.
Requirements:
Education and Experience 3+ years of Industry experience within construction and/or construction materials. 1+ years of manufacturing experience Ability to develop plans, establish priorities and provide leadership to accomplish goals Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment of teamwork and constant change. Advanced ability to communicate professionally and effectively within all levels of the organization. Experience reading plans (civil, architectural, structural, or electrical). Titan ERP software experience is a plus. This position requires you to be in the field, must be able to spend 50 percent or more of your day outside, verifying deliveries, inspecting product quality and performing small visual repairs. Must be flexible in your schedule to meet as needed with field personnel to answer questions or get questions answered. In addition, you will be required to attend site meetings and project update and relay changes to the plant.
