Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee large-scale roofing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction knowledge , and a comprehensive understanding of roofing systems . This role requires managing multiple projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met on every site. The Senior Commercial Roofing Project Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering successful projects that meet client specifications, budget, and timeline expectations. Duties Lead and manage all phases of commercial roofing projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and met. Oversee on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other equipment to facilitate roofing installation and repairs. Perform or supervise heavy lifting tasks and manage materials such as metal studs, framing components, and roofing materials. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with schematics and construction plans. Manage project documentation including schematics, blueprints, permits, and change orders. Maintain a focus on safety by enforcing protocols related to heavy lifting, scaffolding use, hazardous materials handling (e.g., caulking), and general site safety. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a focus on roofing projects; prior experience in commercial roofing is required . Extensive knowledge of construction and blueprint reading. At least OSHA 10 Certification, preferably OSHA 30. Ability to perform or supervise heavy lifting tasks safely on-site. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively. Valid experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety regulations related to roofing and general construction activities.
