Work involves responsibility for planning, assigning and reviewing the work of vendors and staff. The emphasis of the work is in the development of policies, procedures and oversight to ensure success in the monitoring of the work of architectural and engineering consultants and contractors engaged in the design and construction of a variety of smaller scope of Tribal Wide maintenance, renovation and construction projects. Responsibilities include analyzing individual conditions/circumstances which arise on the projects, assisting staff with solving difficult or unusual problems. Work is reviewed for general adherence to established guidelines and procedures. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or similar area of specialty is required. A minimum of four (4) years progressively responsible experience in the Construction Management field is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures and or field experience within the Construction management will be considered. Professional Construction Management Certification is highly desired. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft and CADD software packages. Ability to travel across reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
