Project Manager Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Construction Field Assistant to support our custom home building team. In this hands-on role, you will play a vital part in keeping job sites organized, safe, and running smoothly while assisting with a wide range of field tasks on high-end custom residential construction projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical outdoor and indoor work, takes pride in doing things right, and wants to gain valuable experience in luxury custom home construction. Responsibilities Perform silt fence maintenance and repairs to ensure compliance with environmental and erosion control regulations Conduct clearing and earthwork tasks, including the safe operation of skid steers and forklifts Maintain job site cleanliness through daily cleaning, debris removal, and organization Provide interior finish protection throughout the construction process to safeguard completed work Complete framing punch lists and final walkthrough items with strong attention to detail Installs jobsite signage boxes across job sites Assist with waterproofing tasks for zip systems and windows Install insulation punch and spray foam as needed Conduct selective demolition and removal of materials when required Handle inbounding of materials and supplies, including unloading, staging, and inventory verification Install bath accessories and mirrors with precision and care Monitor and maintain site security, including locking up, securing equipment, and reporting any issues Coordinate with subcontractors at the direction of the Project Manager, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow Support general site preparation, cleanup, and organization tasks Assist the Project Manager with other field-related duties as assigned Requirements Previous experience in construction, preferably on residential or custom home projects (preferred) Experience operating skid steers and/or forklifts is a plus Ability to perform physical labor outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with subcontractors, team members, and homeowners Basic knowledge of construction tools, safety practices, and job site protocols Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to follow directions OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain one) is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience ($23 - $30/hour). Salary verse hourly negotiable.
