Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Structural Steel Project Manager to lead and oversee complex steel construction projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all aspects of structural steel projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with safety and quality standards. Your expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and steel fabrication processes will drive project success and client satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage large-scale projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to innovative infrastructure developments. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and closing of structural steel projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless project workflows. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts thoroughly to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of design intent. Manage procurement processes for steel materials and components using HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools. Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines. Utilize construction estimating skills to prepare accurate cost forecasts and change order documentation. Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with civil teams utilizing Civil 3D for site layout and grading plans. Maintain clear communication channels among all stakeholders through project management software like ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation and collaboration. Ensure timely resolution of issues related to project coordination, scheduling conflicts, or technical challenges. Key Performance Indicators

worked Vs Hrs. Budgeted Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a focus on heavy steel or structural steel projects; prior construction site experience is essential. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract management. Proficiency in project management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management tools. Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and cost control procedures. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for effective project execution. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. Demonstrated leadership in project coordination across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality assurance practices on construction sites. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
