Long Term Job Summary We are seeking a Project Management Consultant Level 1 to support early-stage solar energy projects through development, financial analysis, and data management activities. This role will partner with senior project leaders to ensure projects are technically feasible, financially viable, and ready for successful handoff to the construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis skills , excellent organizational abilities , and a keen interest in building a long-term career in project management within the renewable energy industry . Key Responsibilities Manage assigned solar development projects through the early-stage lifecycle with guidance from the Regional Lead Analyze technical and financial project data to identify key trends, variables, and performance indicators Assist in preparing and maintaining capital budgets for assigned projects Support permitting, engineering coordination, and development activities across multiple project stakeholders Track project milestones, schedules, deliverables, and financial performance Maintain project records and critical data within multiple software systems Support commercial contract coordination and project optimization opportunities Assist with project reporting and presentations for leadership review Work cross-functionally with engineering, construction, legal, and finance teams Ensure project readiness for transition to the construction phase Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field 0 5 years of experience in project coordination, financial analysis, or data management Strong financial analysis and reporting skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project tracking tools Preferred Qualifications Experience in solar, renewable energy, or construction projects Understanding of capital budgeting and project cost management Interest in growing into a project management career path Mechanical or technical aptitude is a plus Desired Skills Project coordination Financial modeling Budget tracking Data analysis Schedule management Stakeholder communication Risk identification Documentation management
