Job Description
Join the world's largest renewable energy construction company as a Solar Project Manager within the Early-Stage Engineering & Construction (E&C) team. This role is responsible for managing utility-scale solar projects through the pre-construction phase, ensuring projects are technically feasible, financially viable, commercially supported, and ready for execution by the construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of project management, construction, engineering, financial analysis, and stakeholder management experience within the renewable energy or construction industry. Key Responsibilities Lead assigned solar projects through the early-stage development and pre-construction lifecycle. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risk mitigation, and resource allocation. Analyze technical, financial, and project performance data to support decision-making. Coordinate engineering, permitting, procurement, contractors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders. Support contract negotiations, budget approvals, and development of construction execution plans. Monitor project compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Review contractor performance, construction readiness, payment requests, and project deliverables. Prepare project status reports and present updates to leadership and project management teams. Facilitate pre-bid, pre-construction, and stakeholder meetings. Drive issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field. 11 15 years of experience managing large-scale construction, infrastructure, renewable energy, or utility projects. Strong experience in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, scope control, and contractor management. Experience working with cross-functional teams, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders. Strong analytical, financial, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision. Preferred Qualifications Renewable Energy, Solar, Wind, or Power Generation experience. PMP Certification preferred. Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project scheduling tools. Knowledge of construction execution, permitting, engineering coordination, and contract administration. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
