Contract Pay:

$50/hr - $55.60/hr Project Controls Specialist II Description Intermediate level position on a Project Controls team Responsible for initiating and completing routine aspects of project cost control assignments with general oversight Will be expected to work with a small team of Project Controls Analysts and Schedulers Will perform cost analysis, forecasting, change control, and reporting for a portfolio of projects budgeted to spend tens of millions during the fiscal year Must be able to compare monthly actuals to the project baseline, identify variances, while simultaneously monitoring the projects' baseline plans and the fiscal budget Generate Periodic Project Controls Analytics Create periodic project analysis of gathered data through verification and validation in order to support project controls metrics Responsible for distributing and archiving project controls analysis as appropriate Will work in partnership with a more experienced Project Controls lead A basic understanding of budgets, direct and indirect labor charges, accruals, overheads, amortization, allocations are a critical knowledge requirement Must have strong problem solving skills and technical skills with the proven ability to integrate large amounts of data from multiple databases or systems Experience working in a PMO environment or on a project controls team is not required but is a plus Exposure to energy-related projects not required but is a plus Typically is assigned to multiple "White" and possibly "Green" projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix
