Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Permitting Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage the permitting process for various projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Your efforts will support smooth project execution.
GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION
: To assist MCG's design and production staff with due diligence, exhibits, scheduling, permitting and other project requirements on as needed basis. Also assist when needed with various general office duties such as answering phones, project number requests and organizing office events. Must be proficient in Word and Excel, be self-motivated, a good communicator and organized. The required responsibilities and authority of MCG's Project Coordinators include, but are not limited to, the following:
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Review requirements of work assigned (analyze and plan specifics) to make most efficient use of resources and to avoid wasted effort; notifying the project lead of any conflicts. Adhere to daily schedules and directions from Job Captain/Project Manager/Project Director relative to assigned work/tasks. •Keep a running list of project questions as project is developed. Questions to be reviewed and answered by the project lead. Work with/within other internal departments and other teams as directed by Job Captain/Project Manager/Project Director. Communicate daily with project team. Manage project timelines/statuses. Manage program specific requirements such as client required online software. Assist in managing lease exhibit process. Assist in communication with client and with the generation of lease exhibits. Assist in the Due Diligence process. Fill out reports, contact authorities having jurisdiction and compile photo pages. Assist in preparing project specifications if requested. Assist in maintaining project cost files, client agreements and consultant agreements. Manage permitting process, contact authorities having jurisdiction on permit submittal process, fill out permit forms, submit documents and follow-up regularly on status of permit. Maintain submittal process. Login, track and distribute submittals and shop drawings. Maintain RFI process. Login, track and distribute RFIs. Maintain organization of business development projects. Track business leads and potential clients. Attend networking events as requested by office Principal. Assist team with miscellaneous requests. Administrative, project-specific and general information. Assist in maintain office functionality. Office calendar, office supplies, etc. Quality Assurance Follow firm's office standards for preparing documents and correspondence. Check own work; correct errors prior to releasing to staff/client for review. Communication Advise the project lead of any questions, problems and/or necessary changes as they occur. Advise team members of specific changes as directed by the project lead. Notify the project lead of known dates and times that might affect the completion of a specific job assignment. Office Policies Follow firm's published personnel office policies. Personal Development Establish and follow a plan for personal and professional development. Review plan and progress with supervisor (at least annually) to evaluate progress and revise plan accordingly. Training In order to keep within the firm's philosophy of "promotion from within", it is necessary for each member of the team to share their knowledge with fellow workers. The sharing of this knowledge is the best way to enhance the development of our staff. Additional Duties Perform tasks above and beyond responsibilities listed in job description as assigned by project lead.

Experience Prior Experience in an architectural or engineering office is a plus.
Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
