This role leads the Project Management team and is responsible for aligning capital investments with institutional priorities through thoughtful planning, disciplined project delivery, and effective stakeholder engagement. The Director serves as the University's primary representative for capital projects and planning efforts, working closely with leadership, academic and administrative stakeholders, and external partners to deliver projects that advance the University's mission. The Director leads the strategy and execution of sub-facets in the department through a group of subordinate managers within the University. The Director contributes to development of the strategic plan for the department and is accountable with other Directors, for achievement of the strategic goals in support of the overall mission of the University. Oversees implementation of functional strategy through subordinate staff and ensures adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems. Takes responsibility for operational effectiveness of assigned department. Develops departmental policies, procedures, and service standards to facilitate the University's overall strategy and objectives. Operationalizes strategic plan and sets milestones for progress. This position will report directly to the Associate Vice President of Facilities.
