Job Description

CLOSE DATE
: 05/29/2026 $21.94 to $24.13 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Government Center/Viera. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Performs experienced para-professional work planning, organizing, and coordinating projects relating to the development of County and/or community resources for the Public Works Department.
REQUIREMENTS
: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Social Science, English, a field related to Public Works, or a closely related field. Experience in iWorq work management software is preferred. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
: Must have working knowledge of Public Works Maintenance Operations related to drainage cycles, heavy equipment types and operations, ditch and swale rehab, and daily work order validations. Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
