Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of electrical system design, installation, and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with safety standards. Your expertise in electrical engineering, construction management, and project coordination will drive successful project outcomes while maintaining high-quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to manage complex electrical projects in a fast-paced environment. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and closing of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets. Collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers, and vendors to define project scope, specifications, and technical requirements. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively. Review blueprints, schematics, and system design documents to ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and client specifications. Prepare construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid or comparable estimating software to establish accurate project budgets. Oversee procurement processes for electrical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery for seamless project execution. Manage site activities on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is performed efficiently. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control, safety compliance, and progress against project milestones. Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders through detailed reports and meetings. Ensure all work complies with relevant contracts, regulations, and industry standards while maintaining meticulous documentation. Requirements Proven experience in electrical engineering with a strong background in construction site management and electrical system design. Demonstrated expertise in project management tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Schematics reading. Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code), system design principles, and blueprint interpretation. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills. Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and contract management. Hands-on electrical experience combined with construction site experience is essential. Excellent communication skills for effective project coordination among diverse teams. Familiarity with construction management practices including project scheduling and safety protocols. Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Electrical Engineering license or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.
