  • Full-time Senior Roadway Project Manager (PE) — Transportation South Florida (Miami-Dade / Broward / Palm Beach) | Full-time A well-established civil engineering firm in South Florida is hiring a Senior Roadway Project Manager to lead delivery of complex transportation projects under FDOT and local municipal standards.
This is a high-visibility leadership role with responsibility for project execution, technical oversight, and team performance across major roadway programs. Why this hire is strategic This position is a key growth and delivery leader for the roadway practice—helping expand workload capacity, elevate QA/QC, strengthen agency/client relationships, and ensure projects are executed consistently to FDOT and county requirements. What you'll lead Direct roadway project delivery from planning/design through construction-phase support Lead multidisciplinary teams (engineers, subconsultants, technical staff) Ensure compliance with FDOT standards , the Florida Green Book , and AASHTO guidance Coordinate with municipalities, utilities, and regulatory agencies Review/approve roadway + drainage plans, permits, and construction documents Own project controls: contracts, negotiations, budgets, schedules, and risk Provide oversight/support for traffic signal design (experience strongly preferred) What they're looking for Florida PE license (required) 10+ years progressive roadway/transportation engineering experience Demonstrated experience delivering projects with FDOT and local municipalities Experience working in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties (strongly preferred) Knowledge of FDOT specs, permitting workflows, and roadway design standards Familiarity with Bentley OpenRoads (preferred) Proven ability to lead teams and manage large, complex infrastructure projects Benefits (summary) Competitive benefits package including a strong PTO/holiday program, 401(k) with match, bonus potential, and medical plan options (details shared during process).
