Miami, FL Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the field execution of large-scale energy infrastructure projects ranging from $200 million to $1.5 billion in value. This leadership role is responsible for the successful execution, delivery, and operational readiness of utility-scale power generation, energy storage, transmission, and related infrastructure projects. The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary leader during the field execution phase and has overall accountability for project safety, schedule, budget, quality, contractor management, commissioning, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance. This individual will work cross-functionally with Development, Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Controls, Business Management, Construction, and Operations teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Execution Direct all aspects of project execution from turnover through commercial operation. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives, schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Provide strategic oversight for utility-scale power generation, renewable energy, and energy storage projects. Ensure project execution complies with company standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory obligations. Safety & Contractor Management Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements. Oversee contractor performance, workforce planning, and field execution activities. Monitor project safety metrics and implement corrective actions as needed. Project Controls & Financial Management Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and financial performance. Identify risks and opportunities affecting project execution and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure projects are delivered within approved budget and schedule parameters. Engineering & Technical Oversight Provide technical direction throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with engineering teams on design reviews, procurement strategies, system integration, and constructability assessments. Support the integration of generation facilities, substations, transmission interconnections, and energy storage systems. Regulatory & Stakeholder Management Serve as the company representative with local, state, federal, and international regulatory agencies. Maintain effective relationships with permitting authorities, utilities, governmental entities, and community stakeholders. Act as the primary liaison for public relations and corporate communications activities at the project site. Commissioning & Operational Readiness Lead commissioning, startup, testing, and turnover activities. Ensure operational readiness through coordination with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams. Support successful project closeout and transition to long-term operations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 15 years of experience managing large-scale energy, utility, infrastructure, power generation, transmission, renewable energy, or energy storage projects. Demonstrated experience overseeing projects valued between $200 million and $1.5 billion. Strong knowledge of engineering, construction management, project controls, contract administration, commissioning, and regulatory compliance. Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders. Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Preferred Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Experience with utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), transmission, substations, and conventional power generation facilities. Familiarity with EPC contracting models and large capital project delivery frameworks. Experience working with regulatory agencies and permitting authorities. Additional Requirements Ability to travel extensively as required by project assignments. Available for storm response and emergency restoration efforts within and outside the company service territory. Ability to work effectively in dynamic, fast-paced project environments. Why Join Us?
