Project Management Specialist will effectively manage automation projects involving software development, system integration, and technical workflows, in order to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex automation solutions. Position requires Control4 Certified (C4CT) Technician certification.
Duties:
Coordinate and oversee automation projects from initiation through completion. Work closely with key stakeholdersincluding clients, engineers, vendors, and internal teamsto define project requirements, objectives, technical scope, and delivery timelines. Develop, update, and maintain detailed project plans outlining objectives, automation technologies, schedules, staffing needs, and budget considerations. Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities to ensure milestones and deliverables are met on time and in accordance with quality standards. Collaborate with management in assigning duties and responsibilities to project personnel, monitoring team performance, and providing feedback to ensure efficient execution. Participate in recruitment or coordinating the onboarding of project personnel when required. Identify project needs related to resources, staffing, equipment, and finances by reviewing project objectives and schedules. Evaluate and select vendors or consultants, as well as negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to secure materials or services, and monitor costs incurred by project staff to identify and address budget issues. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, cost-tracking documentation, and other project records. Facilitate and schedule project meetings, request and review project updates, and work with project personnel to identify and resolve technical, scheduling, or operational issues. Produce, maintain, and distribute project documentation, prepare project status presentations for clients and internal teams, and report overall project statusincluding budget, resources, technical challenges, and customer satisfactionto management. Propose, review, and approve modifications to project plans as needed and ensure that all project deliverables are submitted to clients in compliance with agreed-upon specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
