Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Project Manager and Permit Specialist, where you'll lead critical project coordination and navigate complex permitting processes to ensure seamless compliance with regulatory standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive impactful projects in a fast-paced environment, supporting public health initiatives and construction efforts. You will be the key liaison between project teams, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders, ensuring all permits are secured efficiently and all activities adhere to safety and legal requirements. Your expertise will help advance our mission of promoting safe, compliant, and sustainable development. Duties Project Management Manage multiple paving and concrete projects simultaneously. Review contracts, specifications, blueprints, and project requirements. Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines. Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, materials, trucking, and equipment needs. Monitor production, project progress, and job costs. Ensure projects are completed according to company quality standards. Conduct regular jobsite visits and project inspections. Resolve field issues, delays, conflicts, and operational challenges. Track project profitability and cost control. Prepare and manage change orders when necessary. Ensure all project documentation is accurate and updated Update and request permit as it required Client & Vendor Coordination Communicate directly with customers, contractors, inspectors, and vendors. Attend project meetings and pre-construction meetings. Maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders. Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor scheduling. Address customer concerns and provide project updates Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, FDOT, and company safety regulations. Promote and enforce safe work practices on all job sites. Conduct site safety observations and inspections. Ensure crews wear required PPE and follow safety procedures. Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately. Financial Responsibilities Monitor labor, equipment, and material costs. Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and vendor billing. Assist with project budgeting and forecasting. Support estimating and bidding departments as needed. Track production quantities and completed work for billing purposes. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in paving, asphalt, concrete, roadway, or site development construction. Strong knowledge of asphalt paving and concrete operations. Experience managing field crews, subcontractors, and schedules. Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications. Knowledge of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and construction management software. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Valid driver's license required. Preferred Skills Experience with FDOT, municipal, commercial, or roadway projects preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Experience with scheduling software and project tracking systems. OSHA certification is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to walk active construction sites daily. Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions. Ability to occasionally lift to 25 pounds. Ability to travel between job sites as needed

Salary review after 90 days or 6months based on performance and project management capabilities.
