Assistant Project Managers Superintendents Field Engineers Work Environment Additionally, a pressurized environment is the norm. Employee will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to navigate rugged terrain, climb substantial heights, and work over and on water. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimbed coordination. The employee must have excellent stamina. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time exempt position. This position sometimes requires long hours, holidays and weekend work. Travel The role could require regional travel within the assigned Division Required Education and Experience BS Construction, Engineering, or other relevant fields of study Minimum five years of industry tenure Significant field-based project execution experience Progressive field-based leadership roles Strong oral and written communication skills Safety Trained Supervisor Construction Certification Preferred Education and Experience Viewpoint experience a plus Knowledge of estimating process Additional Eligibility Requirements Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license prior to employment.
