Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery across multiple initiatives while driving consistency, accountability, and results within Agile teams. This role blends traditional program/project leadership with hands-on Agile execution, requiring someone who can lead teams, remove blockers, and influence outcomes-not just manage timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment to business objectives
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
  • Define and maintain project governance frameworks and standards
  • Build and present executive-level updates, including dashboards and status reporting
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and manage program financials
  • Communicate technical and business impacts to stakeholders at all levels
  • Lead Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos
  • Ensure process consistency and effective Agile execution across teams
  • Partner with delivery teams to drive accountability and improve velocity
  • Remove blockers and resolve delivery impediments quickly
  • Guide teams in applying Scrum best practices in a practical, outcome-focused way
  • Act as a true team leader and facilitator-not just a coordinator
  • Build strong partnerships across business units, technical teams, and external vendors
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Influence stakeholders and teams to align on priorities and drive outcomes
  • Support team performance through coaching, facilitation, and leadership
  • Provide clear, consistent communication on project status, risks, and dependencies
  • Maintain and distribute dashboard reporting and performance metrics
  • Interface effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment between technical delivery and business goals
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years of project management experience
  • Strong experience leading Agile delivery teams (Scrum preferred)
  • Multiple projects or programs simultaneously
  • Cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to:
  • Influence without authority
  • Work across organizational levels
  • Manage external vendors and partners Proven ability to:
  • Drive stand-ups and Agile ceremonies effectively
  • Hold teams accountable for delivery outcomes
  • Remove blockers and improve efficiency Strong understanding of:
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Agile frameworks and best practices The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
