Job Description

About us Ovida Construction Group, Inc. is a Commercial General Contracting Company. Seeking a Commercial Construction Project Coordinator for a growing general contracting firm. Working in a team environment, the Commercial Construction Project Coordinator will be responsible for working with multiple Project Managers to ensure projects deliver on time, successfully, and within budget. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, great communication skills, and the ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to maintain and manage relationships while assuring that work is performed in accordance with project requirements. Provides subcontractors with information and support, as outlined within contract specifications, to allow work to proceed as scheduled. Manage/Apply for Various Permits Process Subcontract Agreements, Change Orders, Purchase Orders, Misc. Reports Sharing relevant documentation and reports with project team Create Job Start Packets and Ascertain Close Out Documents Assists departmental personnel with administrative tasks and coordination as requested. Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prepare and interpret notes, schedules and step-by-step action plans Solid organizational skills, including multitasking, record keeping and time-management Strong teamwork skills and ability to perform under strict deadlines with minimal supervision. Preferred - Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Sage, Pantera, etc.) Preferred - High school diploma, Associates Preferred - Experience in Construction preferred
