We create inclusive, sensory-friendly environments where every performer is valued, supported, and celebrated Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Show Director to lead theatrical musical productions featuring neurodiverse actors. This role requires a creative leader who is committed to inclusive practices and able to foster a positive, structured, and inspiring rehearsal environment Key Responsibilities Direct and oversee theatrical productions from rehearsals to final performance Collaborate with choreographers, music directors, and support staff Adapt directing techniques to meet diverse learning and communication styles Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive rehearsal space Guide actors in character development, storytelling, and stage presence Participate in production planning, scheduling, coordination, outreach events and reports Qualifications Experience in theater directing (educational, community, or professional) Strong interest or experience in working with neurodiverse individuals Excellent communication, patience, and leadership skills Ability to adapt creatively and problem-solve in a dynamic environment Background in acting, musical theater, or performing arts education preferred
