JOB SUMMARY
This is a Project Coordinator - Government Operations Consultant III position in the General Tax Administration (GTA) Program, Business Technology Office (BTO), Project Management Office (PMO). The incumbent supports IT projects aligned with GTA's strategic plan using Project Management Institute methodologies and best practices. Responsibilities include maintaining project documentation and supporting compliance with Florida Rule 60GG-1 project management standards. The incumbent also administers HP Application Lifecycle Management onboarding, training coordination, and test script management. In addition, the incumbent coordinates the legislative analysis process for GTA IT teams and delivers small- to mid-sized technology projects. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
One year of experience coordinating with project managers on Information Technology (IT) projects. One year of experience coordinating or performing testing for software development projects. One year of experience delivering professional training using video and audio tools. Knowledge of the Rule 60GG-1, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.), Project Management Standards.
PREFERENCES
Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue. Project Management Institute Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). Experience with the Florida legislative bill analysis process.
SPECIAL NOTES
The incumbent must be highly organized and possess excellent team building and communication skills. This position is in a potentially high-stress environment with multiple priorities. The selected candidate will be expected to manage tasks and prioritize effectively in this environment.
SALARY:
The hiring salary for this position will generally not exceed $4,781.96 monthly/$57,383.52 annually.
