Job Description

This is 100% onsite work position based in Tallahassee,FL. Apply only if you are willing to relcoate.
Education:
A bachelor s or master s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field,
Certifications:
1. Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification; -Must 2. A Change Management Certification, such as Prosci, is highly preferred; 3. Certification in Agile or Scrum-based Project Management highly preferred 4. IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management Foundations certification; highly preferred
Required Experience:
1. 12+ years of experience with successful, large-scale projects involving multiple diverse, cross functional teams; 2. 10+ years of experience with project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Jira) to track and maintain projects; 3. 10+ years of experience with project management methodologies and PMO documentation 4. standards; 5. 10+ years of experience with proactive risk and issue management 6. 10+ years of experience with facilitating meetings and developing clear documentation; 7. Experience in creating and presenting status reports to internal and external stakeholders; 8. Ability to coordinate project teams, lead complex projects, and meet objectives; 9. Demonstrate strong leadership and negotiation skills; and 10. Communicate effectively, both written and oral, to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Experience:
1. Experience managing projects with a large, distributed user base; 2. Experience managing state government projects and knowledge of Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C.; 3. Experience managing vendor projects and working with technical programming teams; 4. Ability to demonstrate a take-charge, can-do attitude with the initiative to solve complex problems; 5. Knowledge of IT standards in a criminal justice environment; 6. Skills in negotiation, mediation, facilitation, and team building; and 7. Team player attitude with a high-energy level and diligent work ethic.
