Your impact Jacobs is seeking a Construction Management Intern to join our Project Management/ Construction Management (PMCM) team in Atlanta, GA working on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients' challenges locally and worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team and be involved in a variety of construction management tasks for our Transportation clients. Jacobs' Program Management and Construction Management (PMCM) team ensures successful project delivery by offering comprehensive services such as program planning, design management, construction management, risk management, and facility commissioning. They also provide tailored specialty services like performance management, safety plan development, logistics planning, and stakeholder coordination to meet client-specific needs.
Our construction management interns will:
Participate in site inspections to observe how work quality is assessed against standards and specifications Assist in tracking project expenses and learn about budget monitoring processes Contribute to the preparation of progress reports and project documentation, helping to manage and update project-related documents and drawings Attend project meetings with team members and clients, gaining exposure to professional interactions Observe and assist in identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies, while also learning about safety protocols and procedures on-site Coordinate material deliveries and observe inventory management practices Assist in reviewing change orders and RFIs, learning about their impact on project timelines and budgets Study relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards, and support the quality control process by participating in inspections and documentation Assist in preparing project closeout documentation This position demands a results-driven, client-focused professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a strong work ethic. You'll take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team. Your ability to manage your time and responsibilities effectively while maintaining a high standard work product will be instrumental in delivering successful project outcomes. Minimum 45,000.00Posted Salary Range:

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
