Role Description CatchUp Recruiting is currently supporting the search for a Project Manager - Civil for a full-time, on-site position based in Georgia . This role will be responsible for overseeing civil construction and infrastructure-related projects from preconstruction and planning through execution and closeout. The Project Manager will play a key role in managing budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, procurement activities, project documentation, and client communication to help ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil construction operations and be comfortable managing multiple moving parts across active project environments. This person should be able to work closely with field teams, consultants, subcontractors, and internal leadership while maintaining control of cost, schedule, and overall project performance. Key Responsibilities Manage civil construction and infrastructure projects from planning through completion Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports Build and track project schedules, milestones, and critical path activities Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and project documents Monitor project progress and address schedule, cost, and coordination issues as they arise Support procurement and buyout activities as needed Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and applicable regulations Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal leadership Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates on project performance Identify risks early and help drive solutions to keep work moving efficiently Support project closeout, punch list, and final turnover activities Qualifications Strong background in Project Management and Construction Management Experience working on civil engineering and infrastructure projects Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resource planning effectively Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across active construction projects Solid understanding of construction workflows, field coordination, and project delivery Knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices within construction Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to solve problems quickly while maintaining focus on project goals Preferred Background Experience managing sitework, utilities, grading, drainage, paving, roadway, or other civil scopes Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities Strong communication style and ability to work effectively with both office and field teams Experience with project management and construction software tools is a plus This is a strong opportunity for a civil construction professional looking to step into a role with meaningful project responsibility and long-term growth potential.
