Job Description

OVERVIEW
Buford, GA based organization is seeking a Project Manager. This is a long term contract role through the end of the year. At this point, the contract could be extended or possibly a permanent job could be offered. Pay range DOE is 90k to 150K ( $43.27 to $72.12 per hour) This is an In-office role with the hours being Mon- Fri 8am to 5pm.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager is a results-driven individual that will lead the planning and execution of cross-functional initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for driving projects from initiation through delivery— ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, budget, and outcomes. The Project Manager will partner closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and Transformation resources to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives, including system implementations, process improvements, and operational programs. This role requires strong organizational skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive execution in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Project Planning & Execution Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation through implementation Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones Track progress and ensure alignment to agreed-upon timelines and goals Governance & Reporting Establish and maintain project governance structures Prepare and deliver regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership Track and manage key project metrics (schedule, budget, risks, issues) Support SteerCo reporting and decision-making Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders Facilitate cross-functional meetings, working sessions, and decision forums Ensure alignment across business, technical, and operational teams Escalate issues and risks as needed to maintain project momentum Risk & Issue Management Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and dependencies Maintain risk and issue logs with clear mitigation strategies Drive resolution of blockers and remove obstacles to execution Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate activities across multiple teams and departments Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and deliverables Align project execution with broader program and transformation initiatives Change Management & Adoption Partner with business stakeholders to support change management efforts Ensure readiness for process and system changes Support communication, training, and adoption planning
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field 5-8+ years of experience in project management or program delivery Proven experience leading cross-functional projects Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid) Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, and risks Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Project management tools: Smartsheet, Jira Data & reporting: Excel (advanced), Power BI or similar Collaboration tools: Microsoft Office Suite, Teams Preferred Experience in a PMO or Transformation environment Experience with system implementations (CRM, ERP, customer service platforms such as HubSpot or similar) Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) PMP or similar certification (nice to have, not required) Key Competencies Strong organizational and execution skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Proactive problem-solving and decision-making Strong communication and facilitation skills Ability to influence without authority Attention to detail with a focus on outcomes
Pay:
$43.27 - $72.12 per hour
