PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION
The Director of Project Management is a responsible for leading a team of project managers, which can also include contractors, sub-contractors, software developers, web developers, graphic designers, testers, network engineers and other staff that are essential to the project. They are responsible for the successful conclusion of the project by providing leadership, strategically managing risk, monitoring finances and making sure that each phase of the project starts and ends on schedule. Performs all other duties assigned.
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The employee will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the supervisor. Job duties may change as required by needs of company. Leading the team of Projects & Bids Management Leading project management group including product sales with a paid PM fee Defining and developing project management procedures and technology Cost tracking to analyze project performance vs bid expectation Budget responsible for the whole department Ensuring quote set up & order entry is aligned across all entities Developing standards and methods for Projects & bids Training and coaching of the teams Establish and keep up to date the competency and qualification matrix, in close cooperation with HR Tracking of MU margin in projects Assist in developing and updating pricing policies, in conjunction with sales, that protect MU margins. Responsible to achieve the Net Sales targets in project management Responsible (with Sales) to achieve the Order Intake (elaboration of bids and technical consulting of customers) Coordination of communication with customer: changes in schedule, expedites, quality, etc.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in related field. Certified Associate in Project Management.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires constant standing, use of hands and fingers and eye-hand coordination. This position requires frequent reaching with hands and arms, and occasional sitting, walking, talking, hearing, and turning or bending at waist. Incumbent must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Good close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well depth perception and the ability to see colors and adjust focus are required. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. This position works indoors in a manufacturing (warehouse) environment. Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold. This position is occasionally exposed oil, grease or dirt, and to the risk of electrical shock. A loud noise level is typical for the work environment of this job.
