Salary:
$125,000 - $180,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Per Diem Founded in 1947, we are a self performing general contractor specializing in water and wastewater treatment plant construction, structural concrete, mechanical installation, and heavy civil infrastructure. Our teams deliver complex municipal and industrial treatment projects across the Southeast with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence. We are seeking a Project Manager to lead all project planning, financial management, subcontractor coordination, and client communication for major treatment plant projects in the Atlanta metro area. What You Will Be Doing Manage all phases of water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and field execution Oversee project financials including cost tracking, forecasting, pay applications, change orders, and subcontractor billing Coordinate with engineers, owners, and internal teams to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements Lead subcontractor management including scope alignment, progress tracking, and issue resolution Maintain project schedules, risk logs, RFIs, submittals, and documentation to support on-time delivery Support field teams with sequencing, constructability reviews, and technical problem solving Drive jobsite safety culture and ensure adherence to company and regulatory safety standards Represent the company in progress meetings, client updates, and project closeout activities What You Need for This Position 5+ years of Project Management experience with a self-performing general contractor Direct experience managing water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects Strong understanding of concrete structures, mechanical systems, process piping, and treatment-plant equipment installation Proven ability to manage project financials, schedules, and subcontractor performance Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation Ability to lead cross-functional teams and maintain strong client relationships
