The university's students select majors from five colleges: Business Administration Education Engineering and Computing Media, Arts, and Communication Science and Humanities The campus is by far the most picturesque in the state of Georgia. Job Summary The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and completing IT projects on time and within budget. This role involves acquiring necessary resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, third-party contractors, and consultants to ensure successful project delivery. Additionally, the Project Manager serves as the Title III Activity Director, overseeing related initiatives and ensuring alignment with project goals and institutional objectives. This position is grant funded and continued employment is contingent upon the availability of funding.

Responsibilities Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with campus leadership, partners, IT management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Manage project budget, scope, and timeline to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Manage the development of Request for Proposals (RFPs) for external vendors as needed. Manage Title III objectives and outcomes at the direction of the CIO. Compile and manage activity reports related to Title III. Assist with training of staff and end-users on new systems or processes as required. May be required to perform job related duties other than those specifically delineated in this position. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field. Three (3) years of experience managing IT projects, including the full project life-cycle. Relevant work and years of project management experience may be substituted in lieu of project management certification. Valid state issued driver's license in good standing Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field. Five (5) years of experience operating as an IT Project Manager in a higher education or public sector environment. Certification such as PMP or Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Proposed Salary The proposed salary range is $80,000.00
