Job Description
Salary:
$85K-$110K (flexible based on commercial experience) plus company truck, laptop, cell phone & fuel card.Job Summary:
The Project Manager serves as the strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of multiple construction projects, from initial award through closeout. This role owns budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, and client relationships while ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Working in a fast-growing environment, the Project Manager will also play a key role in building and refining internal processes, contributing directly to the company's operational development and long-term success.Job Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying critical path activities and coordinating sequencing across multiple projects Oversee and control project budgets, track costs, manage change orders, and proactively address financial variances Coordinate material procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery aligned with project timelines Manage the RFI and submittal process, including preparation, tracking, and resolution Act as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and architects regarding project scope, schedule, and budget Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications Support Superintendents by resolving issues, removing obstacles, and ensuring access to updated drawings and documents Maintain organized and accurate project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and reportsQualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in site development, heavy civil, or commercial general contracting Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong expertise in budgeting, cost control, and change order management Experience with procurement, subcontractor coordination, and contract administration Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports Excellent communication and client relationship management skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environmentPreferred Experience:
Experience with small-to-mid-sized general contractors Estimating experience or ability to review and validate estimates Prior field experience (e.g., Superintendent or Foreman) Familiarity with municipal permitting and inspection processes About theCompany:
