The Fordy Group is partnering with a leading heavy civil contractor in the Atlanta, GA area to find a Project Manager . This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the process for Heavy Civil and Utility projects , working on high-profile infrastructure work in a fast-paced environment. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards and client expectations Duties/Responsibilities Lead and manage construction projects through all phases, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and closeout. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across all project teams. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation plans. Coordinate project activities with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, engineers, and other stakeholders. Monitor project progress and proactively address issues that may impact schedule, budget, quality, or safety. Conduct regular project meetings and maintain consistent communication with field personnel, clients, and management. Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements. Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project reports. Track project costs and productivity, preparing monthly financial reports and forecasts. Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams during project planning and bid reviews. Assist in identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impacts. Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed according to project specifications and company standards. Coordinate project inspections, testing, and quality control activities. Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions when necessary. Maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, consultants, and general contractors. Ensure compliance with all applicable contract requirements, company policies, and regulatory standards. Participate in project closeout activities, including punch list completion, final documentation, and client turnover. Attend project-related meetings, training sessions, seminars, and industry events as required. Always adhere to Strack Inc. guidelines and procedures. Maintain a professional, organized, and productive work environment. Essential Requirements Knowledgeable in Grading Operations, Trenching and Excavation, Municipal Projects, or Army Corps of Engineers projects. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously. Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills. Willing and able to travel out of town and/or out of state to oversee project operations.

Preferred Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of construction project management experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Experience managing public infrastructure, site development, or heavy civil construction projects. Being bilingual is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and project management software. High level of character and professionalism. Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all departments and stakeholders. Ability to analyze project data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
