Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION A
growing and well-established structural steel fabricator and erector is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and institutional construction projects from award through closeout. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organization with a strong backlog of work and long-term growth potential.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage structural steel projects from contract award through final completion Coordinate detailing, engineering, fabrication, delivery, and field erection activities Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and production timelines Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors Review contracts, specifications, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Monitor project costs, labor productivity, and material procurement Coordinate with shop management and field superintendents to ensure project success Negotiate and manage change orders and project scope modifications Track project progress and provide regular updates to leadership and clients Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience as a Structural Steel Project Manager or recent gradudate with a construction management degree Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes Experience managing commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education, or large-scale construction projects Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings Experience with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of AISC standards and industry best practices Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base Salary:
