ExemptPOSITION SUMMARY
Accomplishes the Engineering Department's strategic facilities project objectives by project planning, implementation, and quality assurance in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel and all applicable federal, state, Tribal and local gaming laws and regulations. Coordinates with staff and operations to ensure a positive customer service experience. Maintains professionalism in all interactions with internal and external customers. This list of duties and responsibilities is illustrative only of the tasks performed by this position and is not all-inclusive.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans project scope, objectives, timelines, and creates project plan details. Coordinates with vendors, consultants, and other MBCH departments to manage project resources. Directly monitors the daily activities on projects to ensure tasks are completed. Monitors project progress, milestones, and costs to stay within budget and on time. Identifies and resolves project issues as they arise. Communicates with internal and external project personnel as the primary point of contact on behalf of MBCH. Provides quality assurance checks throughout projects to ensure all goals are met and required standards are achieved. Coordinates with supervisors to ensure departmental staffing is maintained within budgetary requirements. Maintains detailed records of MBCH projects and provides reports to MBCH management. Complies with policies and procedures required by the department, the Casino, the Sac and Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission. Contributes to a team effort to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect. Performs other duties as assignedMINI MUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED. Five (5) years of work experience in project, construction, or facilities management. A bachelor's degree in projects, construction management or business is preferred. Valid driver's license is required when operating a vehicle for work-related purposes. Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance with the regulations established by the Sac and Fox Gaming Commission. Must be able to successfully pass a background screening / investigation according to the established requirements below.KNOWLEDGE. SKILLS. AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of:
Goals, objectives, functions, policies, and procedures of Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel. Department organization, functions, objectives, policies and procedures. Applicable federal, state, Tribal, and local gaming laws, regulations, requirements, and principles. Principles, practices, and trends in facilities maintenance. Budget preparation and administration. Customer service standards. One or more aspects of engineering (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, or building). NEC, UPC and OSHA regulations. Materials, methods, practices and equipment used in building cleaning, maintenance, and repair activities. Occupational hazards, safe working practices, and safety precautions in accordance with applicable state, county, or federal laws and regulations regarding workplace safety. Blueprints and schematics.Skill in:
Analyzing problems, projecting consequences, identifying solutions, and implementing recommendations. Supervising, training, and evaluating assigned staff. Making effective decisions in urgent situations. Handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Addressing customer problems. Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Providing exceptional customer service. Office software and industry-related applications, including spreadsheets, databases, and industry-related applications in a Windows environment.Ability to:

Work is generally performed in an office environment with a moderate noise level. Work may occur occasionally outdoors or in a vehicle where incumbent may be exposed to varying temperature and weather conditions. Employee may be exposed occasionally to loud and continual noise levels. The employee may occasionally be exposed to hazardous materials; dust, fumes, airborne particles, allergens, and/or second-hand smoke; and hostile, offensive, and / or violent individuals. Evening and/or weekend work may be required. Tight time constraints and multiple demands are common. Travel may be required for training, meetings, conferences, presentations, and other events.PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required sit; move throughout the office/complex/site; use hands to manipulate, touch, or grasp objects and materials; reach with hands and arms; and communicate effectively. The employee occasionally is required to lift/move up to 50 pounds. The employee may occasionally be exposed to hazardous materials; dust, fumes, airborne particles, allergens, and/or second-hand smoke; and hostile, offensive, and / or violent individuals. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Incumbent may sit for extended periods of time.
