Develop and maintain project budgets for new and ongoing projects. Prepare and maintain accurate project cost forecasts, including Estimate at Completion (EAC), and support project financial planning throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project costs, financial performance, profitability, and key project metrics to maintain financial transparency and support continuous improvement activities and effective decision-making. Identify and report project risks, cost variances, and emerging trends. Review project documentation and contracts to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and support operational compliance across projects. Support change management and assess the financial impact of project changes and change orders. Prepare project reports, dashboards, and financial analyses for internal and external stakeholders. Support client invoicing, payment applications, and cash flow monitoring activities. Develop and maintain client billing rates for Time & Material projects. Assist with subcontractor cost management, procurement-related activities, and financial reconciliations. Contribute to project performance reviews by providing financial insights and recommendations. Support project close-out activities, reconciliations, and lessons learned. Provide financial insights and business partnering support to Project Managers and other stakeholders, collaborating across project, finance, and operational teams to support successful project delivery and informed business decisions. Here's what you'll need Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Experience in a project-based environment, Financial Analysis, Accounting, Controlling, or a similar analytical role is preferred. Understanding of project controls principles, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and financial reporting. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with numerical data. Very good Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Power BI, ERP systems, reporting tools, or project management systems would be an advantage. Very good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Very good command of English, both written and spoken. Willingness to work late shifts for up to two weeks per month would be an advantage but is not essential.
