Project Manager-Crop Development

Our Need:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Crop Development Project Manager to oversee plant development projects from client agreement through completion. This role will be responsible for translating project agreements into structured development plans, organizing tasks, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure work is completed on schedule. The ideal candidate will serve as the central point of communication between the development team and clients, ensuring project milestones are met and progress is clearly communicated.

Responsibilities:

• Manage crop development projects from agreement through completion
• Create and organize project boards in Monday.com based on client agreements and project scope
• Break projects into clear tasks, assign responsibilities, and establish timelines
• Monitor project progress and ensure tasks are completed on schedule
• Coordinate and manage communication with internal development teams to keep projects moving forward
• Identify potential delays or challenges and work with the team to implement solutions
• Meet regularly with clients to provide project updates and discuss progress
• Maintain accurate project documentation, timelines, and status reports
• Ensure development milestones and deliverables align with project agreements
• Support collaboration between breeding, research, and production teams involved in development projects

Required Skills :

Strong project management and organizational skills Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Proficiency with Monday.com or similar project management platforms Ability to break complex projects into structured tasks and timelines Excellent communication and client management skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to coordinate across teams and ensure accountability for project tasks Personable and approachable, with the ability to build strong working relationships with both team members and clients

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, Biology, Business Management, or a related field preferred
• Experience in project management, agricultural operations, crop development, or research coordination
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in agricultural, research, or development environments
• Previous experience using Monday.com or other project management software strongly preferred

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
